Residents involved in the Conway Work Center engage in numerous activities that promote independence by providing programming uniquely tailored to their individual needs. Among the skill areas addressed at the work center are:
Participants in Misericordia's Office Skills Training Program learn skills that prepare them for office support jobs at Misericordia and in the community at large. Training is provided in a "real work" setting with the goal of developing appropriate work skills and habits. Among the skills areas addressed are; copying, filing, collating and clerical assembly tasks.
