Developmental Training – Program Aide
Program Aide will work Monday through Friday in our Developmental Training program. Must have at least 1 year of experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities, Driver’s License required and previous experience driving 9 passenger vehicles. Familiarity with Sign Language preferred.
Immediate opening for a full time Chef
Must have 2-3 years previous experience
Flexible schedule (includes weekends and evening shifts)
Food Sanitation Certification and Driver’s License are required

Behavior Support Professional
Immediate openings on our evening shift 3pm-11pm for 2 Behavior Support Professionals. Must have at least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must have at least 1 year of working with individuals with behavioral challenges.
Starting pay for BSP after training is completed $13.40 base pay; $14.15 pm differential weekdays and $14.90 weekends. Additional $1.00 per hour with Bachelor’s degree.
Registered Behavior Technician
We have an immediate opening for an RBT Full Time
At least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities
Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
Flexible hours are required including some evenings and weekends
Upon completion of paid DSP training and RBT training (through Misericordia Home), must successfully pass the RBT competency assessment
RBT will administer assessments, train staff on behavior reduction program and skill acquisition protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Developmental Training: Personal Care Aide
A minimum of one year experience supporting persons with intellectual disabilities
The ability to be self-directed and have strong organizational skills
The ability to work with individuals with a variety of needs
The ability to demonstrate reliability, flexibility and punctuality and Misericordia’s policies
Ability to work effectively with DT staff from all program branches of DT
Ability to provide personal care needs for individuals
Ability to lift residents for positioning and hygiene needs
Case Manager/QIDP(Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional)
The QIDP position is an opportunity for persons with a bachelor’s degree in special education, sociology, psychology etc. and one year of experience working with persons with mental disabilities. QIDP oversees the needs of the residents programs, goals, community outings amongst many other facets of daily life for our residents. QIDP works closely with Supervisors and DSP’s to ensure quality care and programming for our residents. Hours include day time and evening hours with every other weekend required. While we are always accepting applications we do not currently have any QIDP openings.
Must have previous experience working with persons with Developmentally Disabled population in the area of recreation.
Bachelor’s degree in recreation, art, music or special recreation, preferred
Special Olympics coaching experience, knowledge of rules, skill execution for a variety of sports.
Basic music background - ability to create programs utilizing music as a medium.
Ability to plan creative, fun and well organized recreational and dance related activities.
Recreation Specialist will have opportunities to work independently as well as part of a recreation team providing leisure time activities for individuals with varying levels of developmental disabilities.
Evenings and weekends are the primary hours for this position.
